SakuraKoi
Well, while preparing my surface base, I had to wonder why my smart battery did overheat and this made me remember that of course buildings only exchange heat with gas which, needless to say, should not be. At the very least /all that one can reasonable ask for, buildings which need a foundation should exchange heat with it while buildings that need none should with the backwall (if there is one). Though arguably those which need a foundation could also for it is not like one would place them in the center of a room.(Games like ONI in converted into 3D would be funny anyway, like 2m wide rooms and many more meters long: "Bubbles, we need copper, we need copper!", "Ruby, there is a lot near the printing pod~", "B-But that one is not on our plane of existence...", "What is a plane of existence?") Anyway, this would also help to bypass gasses as exchange medium and one can instead use metal tiles&tempshift plates directly, please consider this for the quality of life updates and thank you for everything. P.S Is the thermal exchange of raw metal ore buildings not incredible low when compared to the refined counterparts? It does not have to be the same and should not be but besides Wolframite which is 4 times less (which I find fair), Gold is 30 times less and Iron&Copper ~11 times less conductive. I get the idea that they are impure and could disregard that a refinery turns the impurities into iron but Minerals are nearly as conductive if not more than gold. I know that all this would especially make thermoregulators and aquatuners more easily to handle but that difficulty is a little to artificial imho.
