continuous incubators plz

why can't incubators continuously incubate eggs? there should be a continous button like metal refinery and other industrial machines

this problem is making my ranch very hard to build. i am currently using many automations to make sure only one egg is hatching, if incubator can continuously incubate eggs, it will be much easier

then its hard to control the number of critters or i have to wrangle critters instead of having their eggs send to slaughter house

Not at all. If you have a drop off in each of your stable with the right amount of critters that you want and a higher priority (let's say 6), every time that a critter of the right time is caught, it will be moved to your stables. Then, have a drop off in your killing room so any excess go there to be killed / starved / flooded / whatever you do to them. Of course, you must make sure that the critters, once hatched, can go out of the room where you have put the eggs

Just get a dropoff set to auto wrangle 0 critters as eggs don't count as critters but baby critters count.
