Vincie
Oni needs some sort of second tier od automation. What I would love are: 1. Programmable Supercomputer station - usung some simple python-like language it could generate 8 logical signals and do it some times in a series, divided by 000000 output daily, based on the daily report. It could also generate four digit output, based on four digit inputs and the dayli report. For example: if binary_input==1001 if oxygen_added_to_net<0 binary_output==1101 This could be also used passively for resource programming - different 8-bit output based on if's with avaible resurce. An active, programmed unit would require a scientist to operate. They should also eat raw metals, not water, why researching. And should not eat this, while simply computing. 2. Counter chip - a 2x6 logic gate with 8-bit logical output (00000000, 00000001,...,11111111), a signal input, a toogle input, a reset input and a power input (would use like 10 watts). 3. A programmable combinatory chip - a 2x8 one with an 8 bit logical input and an 8-bit output, giving 0000000 or anything programmed if input would be in the programme. 4. A NAND gate. Seriously, no NAND gate? 5. A clock element - So that I can save space on those buffer-not 2x2's, just a single tile. 6. Basic logic gates stuffed by four on a 2x6 - this would save a lot of space. It would be like 74xx's chips. 7. A memory chip - one that would have an 8-bit memory input, 8-bit regester and an 8-bit logic output. I crabe this more than oxygen in this game. 8. Actually all logical elements shoul use 5-50 watts (depending on it's kind) and produce heat with this, while active. 9. Dupe sensor - a sensor detecting presence of a dupe in a room, because pressure plates are inconvienient. 10. A little more of use for the basic research lab - two gases input to make plastics out of natural gas and chlorine by a scientist, for early game low plastics demand.
