LeftyRighty
I quite often run into a situation where I need a section of floor "10 tiles wide" or a holding tank "20 x 20", or just "is this room too big?" There isn't a quick way of doing these things without counting tiles, one... two.... three... four... what hun?... dammit... one... two... three... Could we get a simple tool where we can "mask" over an area and it give us the height/width/volume. If the volume could work out the room size per the room bonuses (i.e. subtract ghost tiles and whatnot) that would be awesome Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/92833-room-building-measuring-tool/ Share on other sites
Horserax
I agree. This is one of those small things that add up to a much greater experience, but are no less important then key features. I find how often I recommend a game is weighed on how many 'minor annoyances' there are, they really do add up and effect the overall experience. Ricordis
Uh, yep. Totally like it. Just 3 small numbers next to the cursor: width, height, volume. Okay, gotta admit: Volume would be too much for me because it would be too cluttered and I can multiply those numbers fast enough in my head.
