I bought this game about a month ago and here are some features I would greatly appreciate to see in future updates : Hunter jobs, weapons and a bunch of new biomes with aggressive mobs that can be hunted for food or other nice drops (and why not tamed). Let's make those silly early and end games a little more exciting ! Drop item in world (tired of sweeping critter eggs and have to place them in containers and change container settings just to have the item dropped in the desired place. It seems like hacking the game only to perform a simple task) Release critter in world without a building (Or at least make them swim !). When those hatch keep falling in holes that are about to be flooded, the least I would like to be able to do is put them in a safe place so they don't die. Such a shame having to wait for the ranching research to be completed just to put critters in safe spots. Ranching overlay. I feel like something is missing to the ranching system. Once one already had to dig all those machinery rooms and stuff, when you add the ranching rooms on top of it, it is just too much. Maybe add a ranching overlay, that would function like a third dimension in the game (with gas interactions as well) and take no room in the main overlay would be a nice workaround. In this overlay, one could build a critter pen, which could actually be attached to a critter drop-off and a critter feeder. The decor bonus of all animals in the pen would apply in the vicinity of the whole pen. Flyers pen and fish pens could be built too so flying critters just stop escaping through doors and fishes decor bonus becomes actually useful. The pens could also be upgraded for thermal or gas insulation and connected to thermal and gas management machines, making the farming environment more manageable. Use that bug net already ! Despite the wrangle icon being a bug net, not being able to capture flying critter makes me sad (It is probably already planned but I had to say that). Air blower : A simple machine that makes the different gases in a room get melted a little so that tiny bit of hydrogen that always gets trapped in a corner eventually makes it through my gas pumps (maybe make it an upgrade for gas pumps so that it doesn't take extra room, I feel like there are really too much stuff to place down everywhere and machine rooms always feel terribly cramped) Pre-defined actions areas : Asking for sweep all the time at the same place, because a new dig always put more to sweep is a pain. Maybe adding auto-sweep areas (and later preferred hunting areas, preferred travelling and so on...) would be a good idea. Maybe add some way to influence the stats of new duplicants ready to be printed ? I think that's all for now, thanks to the devs for reading this. avilmask Posted June 27, 2018 Share Posted June 27, 2018 About the wrangling thing. Only thing I want is ability to ALWAYS be able to wrangle tamed creatures. Also wrangled creatures should not magically unwrangle themselves when dupes suddenly leave them because of lunch break. I irritates me, how much work it is to recapture a tamed creature that was dropped in a random place because (just because).
