M3n3ill0s
Here is how I got no silver linings and flavourville on duo. It's the easiest way we could find, and on our first try, we got 24 cravings before we decided to stop. Our strategy relies in very easy recipes, mostly made from flour and potato, to reach to the important cravings, where the good offerings are. The money is not a problem and we don't need any silver plating (obviously), so we don't need to get the salt key to open chests, we just buy any gear needed and use the salt to improve our meals if needed. We also need to maintain a constant output of flour and potatoes, so each round buy and sow at least one packet of potatoes and one or two packets of wheat (keep in mind that you need mostly potatoes in the first 6 rounds, then mostly flour). If meat is needed, just buy a bird. The order to buy gear is: Round one: cookpot - Round 2 / 3: oven (if bread) / salt rack (if veggies), then the other one - Round 4 or 5: sap buckets - Before round 7: large oven - Before Round 8: syrup pot - Whenever possible: large grill and large cookpot ------ Regular Rounds SNACK: potato x 3 (small cookpot) BREAD: flour x 3 (small oven) VEGGIES: potato x 3 (small cookpot) SOUP: potato x 3 (small cookpot) FISH: fish + potato x 2 (small cookpot) MEAT: meat + porato x 2 (small cookpot) PASTA: meat + flour + mushroom + potato (large oven) ----- Fourth Round (saphire) DESSERT: flour + berry x 2(small oven) ----- Eigth Round (red mark) DESSERT: syrup + flour x 2 (small oven) Once we have a red mark, we need to feed him special dessert, bread or cheese cravings using milk to win a favor (it doesn't work every time, but there is enough time to try again later), and use another milk to get a new red mark: ----- To win a Favor DESSERT: (2 syrups available): milk + syrup x 2 (small cookpot) DESSERT: (1 syrup available): syrup + milk x 2 (small cookpot) DESSERT: (no syrup available): milk + berry + flour x 2 (large oven) BREAD: milk + berry + flour x 2 (large grill) CHEESE: berry + flour + milk x 2 (large oven) ----- To Maintain your red mark SNACK: milk + flour x 2 (large grill, one slot empty) BREAD: milk + flour x 2 (large grill, one slot empty) VEGGIES: milk + flour + potato (small cookpot) SOUP: milk + flour + onion x 2 (cookpot) FISH: milk + flour + fish + spice (large grill) MEAT: milk + flour + meat + fern (large grill) PASTA: milk + flour x 2 (small cookpot) If it asks for CHEESE and you don't have milk, just feed it anything. Keep in mind to maintain at least one red mark. If you run out of milk and red marks, wait for a dessert and repeat from round eight. We played asWillson (as cookpot is largely needed) and WX (he needs to sow, chop trees, get the salt and the sap, so running is really helpful)
Kolascay
Bread/Cheese "favors" only give red marks. Only dessert cravings can give favors without silver plating.

You cannot earn Gnaw Favors (which is what you probably mean?) without silver plate with cheesecake in cheese round, or scone on bread round, but you do get 1 Red Mark for each without silver plate. The guide is still wrong though.

Boriya
I have change some things, and now its realy easy & cool way to get 18 dishes and no silver lining (and all is working!). Her is a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kBhhxRBpr4 You cook 3rst dessert for a 1 mark, then use milk only to simplify Pasta and Cheese. Just salt them to 100% freshness to have red mark for new dessert. We hade a bunch of time left, and dicede to cook more.
