Game crashes in first mission every time

I can't seem to get this game to run without crashing. Each time I start up it works fine for a while then i get a black screen and no response to user input. The music usually keeps going for a little while before it gets stuck on a single sound too. I've tried removing all VC and reinstalling, running as admin, even running in Win7 compatability mode - the same happens every time. I end up having to force reboot. 

This is very frustrating, anyone have any other ideas what to do?

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the game. Could we get you to ensure that your gpu drivers have been updated to the latest version?

It didn't show any needed updates, but I did go ahead and reinstall all the drivers and now it works! Thanks for your help getting on the right track! I appreciate the help!
