Bluckles Posted June 16, 2018 Share Posted June 16, 2018 We know the pigs in the Gorge turn into merms. Maybe those are the merms you see normally? If you look at the ground in the forest the pigs lie in, its a recolored marsh texture. If that's so, then the pigs that turn into merms might be the ones you find in the base game. And if that's so, that giant elder pig could turn into Toadstool. There's also the fact that there are mushrooms in the forest they dwell in. That's just a random theory though. Take it with a grain of salt unless you find more evidence. Catteflyterpill Posted June 16, 2018 Share Posted June 16, 2018 Only problem is that Pig Elder is growing scales. Amphibians have breathing skin, specifically shroom-skin in the case of Toadstool. But who knows, maybe some turn into creatures other than Merms, which would be cool to explore. Very interesting theory.
