backwall change

So as many of you know, when you excavate a large area or just make your base cross a biome, you see the color change from which the biome once was. I think the background should change along with what you change. So let's say you tunnel into another biome. Instead of seeing the color change, it would change the color to the starting biome color or something

 

PS, on this topic, maybe on the set rooms (bathroom etc) the background would change?

With cosmic update and how vacuum works there i think there will be some background tiles aka wallpapers\walls.(someone from klei said they are exploring this if i am not mistaken)

As i understand they want to make you able to create rooms in space, and for that you need background tiles or otherwise any gas or liquid will dissapear.

Yea a background tile is fairly standard in this 2D base builder genre, if for aesthetics if nothing else.

With the exception of vacuum, the backwall should change, and smoothly so, maybe into a generic base backwall as you dig out.
