Wires/Pipes/Tiles Manufacture

Recommended Posts

1. I'm not saying normal pipes, wires should be thrown out of the game but become tier1 items you build at the beginning and get broken "a lot" and require constant maintenance.

2. Let dupe engineers after they get the job tier manufacture better wires and pipes that function like the ones we have right now. I.e they don't break ever unless the medium inside changes aggregate states or the wires get overload.

I would recommend the 2kw wires and the heavy wires we have right now need to be manufactured with a machine before beeing installed.

3. Jobs like electrical engineer and plumber would be able to carry more pipes or wires than a simple dupe could carry raw material = faster building/less running from a to b

4. I suggest three new machines. The "cable coiler" and the "pipe'o'mat" both needing around 450W and water for cooling creating ph2o.

The pipe'o'mat would produce pipes (radiant and insulated) at a fixed temperature and would be needed for insulated tiles and metal pipes.

5. The "block-something"( can't find a good name)

Would also need power and tinkering. No water, two water suckers are enough. Create heat? but would make insulated tiles and metal tiles at a fixed temperature.

6. Why the fixed temp?

Right now tiles and pipes are always different temperature depending on the material temperature. This would bring uniformity and could maybe improve performance (just a theory ) because there would be less interactions of different material temperatures and such. At least it would be easier to calculate.

7. I'm looking forward for your input/suggestions:wilson_vforvictory:

I'm sure I didn't think everything through 100% but I think this concept would be a step into the right direction.

No more dupes running with raw materials and magically gunblasting tiles, wires and pipes.

Cheers!
