Hydrophonic planting box

Planting boxes require dupes to deliver the water(or polluted water). I want a planting box that accepts input from pipes like the hydrophonic farm tile does.

Maybe you should think more carefully what you're asking for before making a thread.

Hydroponic farm tiles aren't exactly hard to come by, and do exactly what you described. You even used them as an example in your suggestion.

I want that because CO2 or other gases plants can't grow in often gather at the bottom and I get a lot of error messages with farm tiles but no error messages with planting boxex because the plants are raised in the planting boxes

The tools to fix your problem are already in the game. For example, you could use the new gaseous element sensor, a NOT gate, and a mini gas pump to suction away any gas that isn't the desired gas. You could also try topping off your farms with the gas you want from a geyser, with spaces underneath the farm tiles for unwanted gasses to sink to.

You seem capable enough to come up with ideas, so building a solution with the tools available to you should be within your ability.

Not that I fully disagree with Crypticorb but another good use of planter boxes is that light passes through them so you can stick them on ventilation tiles and double stack plants under a light bulb
