jbeetle Posted April 15, 2018 Share Posted April 15, 2018 Has anyone (other than the 3 levels I see on the workshop) successfully imported the SDK package into Unity? It crashes my Unity 3x before it'll open, but then it just adds default assets that it missed on the crashes. Reimporting doesn't help. Any expertise around here? jbeetle Posted April 16, 2018 Author Share Posted April 16, 2018 Problem solved. The version of Unity literally has to be the exact version (the one from September 2017) it says in the tutorial. It will crash in later versions. Hopefully that'll be fixed later on, but for now, if anyone stumbles upon this in the future, that's the solution. jbeetle Posted April 16, 2018 Author Share Posted April 16, 2018 Now i'm trying to figure out how to simply add lava. Adding a lava plane doesn't work. Tagging it as lava in Unity works mechanically but not visually (it's just a white plane that kills you with lava effects). edit: solved that too (the prefab is called lava_20x20 or where the numbers are the size of the plane). on to the next problem!
