larollz Posted March 30, 2018 Share Posted March 30, 2018 Hi Is it possible to make an Auto-sweeper fill a storage compactor from a conveyor receptacle ? I have two conveyor receptacles, both of them are full, and no one, neither an Auto-sweeper, nor a duplicant seems to want to empty them. Hence all my shipping system is stuck. I checked that the Auto-sweeper agree to store nearby resources to the storage compactor, but not from the conveyor receptacle. How to make it works ? Is there some tricks I don't know ? (Of course the storage compactor accept the pending resources stored in the conveyor receptacle). I tried to deconstruct them, or the Auto-sweeper, to change their location... But nothing works... larollz Posted March 30, 2018 Author Share Posted March 30, 2018 I was pretty sure I changed the priority, but probably the other way around since I wanted that people take care of the receptacle (which is meant to be emptied). Ok thanks for your help, this works. I hope there will be some tips ingame to learn about that, or even make so that the compactor has an internal higher priority than the receptacle. So, I set up my "shipping storage" (if you will) with a gradually increasing priority. I'll add a screenshot when I get a chance, but I think words may suffice. So the receptacle is prioritized at 1. Then I have, say 4 storage compactors at priority 2, and the last one that the auto-sweeper can reach is priority 3. Then I have a second auto-sweeper and a new set of storage compactors with a priority of 4. The highest I use is 5 on the compactors. Sometimes the first auto-sweeper won't touch what's in the receptacle even though it's priority 1 and there's available space in the nearby storage compactors. I have to save and restart the game or destroy the receptacle and re-build it. Destroying it empties it, and the auto-sweeper will pick up whatever was in it just fine from the ground.
