Automation signal when pipe blocked flag on pump.

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to send a signal when a pipe is backed up?

Basically I am just using a single electrolyzer with a gas pump right above it, I am sending the hydrogen to a large empty room I made for storage, and the oxygen is going straight to my exosuit docks.

I want the electrolyzer to power down when the oxygen line to the docks is full causing the blocked pipe flag.

If you enclose your electrolyzer and pumps in a box, the electrolyzer will naturally stop because if everything backs up, the pressure in the box will rise until the electrolyzer shuts down. You could also use an atmo sensor and turn it off when pressure gets above some threshhold.

ya, thats what i am trying, not full proof, but seems to work, if I have some vents pumping the excess oxygen into my living areas.

one thing I thought of but seems way to overly complex to be worth trying, but have the docks in a sealed tiny room and an atmo sensor and a pump in there. then when the docks are full the o2 goes into the room.

Have an atmo sensor in the room that says if pressure is higher than 100 send signal to turn off the electro. Then the pump in the dock room would be toggled on while the electo is toggled off, feeding the o2 in that room to the suits once the pipe is no longer backed up.

So once that room has less than the 100g the electro should turn back on.
