social update, part 2!

( my topics are going to be more thought out, OK? )

OK, my last post was mainly ideas for the game, so now on to why I call it the social update

currently, once a steady colony is made, shipping is dealt with and no-one is contracting diseases, what do they do? they either have

1: tons of free time

2:  very little work ( cooks )

so, I have an idea for one dupes finally get get a groove of life,

Dupes interact: now dupes can enjoy the view, take a nap, sit down, or play a game, soon dupes start socializing, talking and tinkering in spare time

barracks, they are rooms for dupes, and currently are rough, lazy and put away, I want a way of which dupes get more out of their home and also get extra benifits

1: now rooms can be 12 - 128 tiles big

2: new thing! room quality!

  I: the room quality scale is 1-9, one being the lowest whilst nine the highest room overlay.tif

    i: if it is made of tile, +1

    ii: if it has a bed, +1

    iii: if it has a locker / storage capacitor or personal belongings, +1

    iv: if it is above 70 tiles, +1

    v: is made of carpet, +1 carpet.tif

    vi: if has home grill home grill.tif

    vii: bookcase bookcase.tif

    viii: 500g of oxygen per 3 tiles

    ix: and DLC, no? ok... erm, close proximity to another barraccs

ok, finally out of that mess, and that's it, for now anyways
