The Plum Gate Posted January 29, 2018 Share Posted January 29, 2018 The recharge thresholds for power generators and such, do they look at the individual battery levels on the circuit, or do they calculate the precent based on the total capacity of all the batteries connected to the circuit? It's different with smartbatterys and where you place them. The Plum Gate Posted January 29, 2018 Author Share Posted January 29, 2018 Smart batteries aside, I'm wondering if one dead battery in the circuit will trigger a low event / refill threshold. And I think it does - it seems to. Adding the smart battery, seems like it would or should only charge and discharge when the other primaries fill up or empty - but that's a solution for circuit where we lack a simple charge 'level detecting' sensor and not really need dedicated battery. But I haven't played with it much.
