Advice on cooling area

In the current build I am running I have a mealwood farm going. I created a second compartment below it that is filled with CO2 as to keep it better preserved. What I failed to realize is that this area is relatively heated, more specifically the left side. And so the temperature in the room as far as the left goes is too hot (just 10 degress Fahrenheit above) for the mealwood to actually grow. Im still too early in the run and have not discovered Wheezewort yet (not that I partcularly know how to take care of it anyway because Im still quite new to this game), and Ive been trying to cool the area but have not made any progress. I tried using the hydrofan but that did little to nothing. And when I used the temp overlay didnt even show it make a dent in cooling down the area. I tried using the thermo regulator to pump out some cool air into the area but it really didnt do much of anything. I even have used abysallite insulated tiles to impede the heat traveling through the walls into the farm. Is there another way to cool the area, or will I just have to let my farm suffer until I find wheezeworts?

What do you mean by current build? search borg cube on forum, it works on all available builds.
