Local Split screen connecting issue

Recommended Posts

There are a couple of things you can try to resolve this:

  • Ensure both players on split-screen are signed into a valid PSN account on the PS4's main menu. Unfortunately signing in as a "Guest" account on the PS4 will limit the game to be played offline.

  • Ensure that your PSN account has accepted the EULA – otherwise you are limited to offline mode. In order to accept the EULA – go to the game's main menu > OPTIONS > EXTRAS > REVIEW THE EULA and accept it.

  • Try resetting your router, and that your router's firmware has been updated to the latest version. You will be able to find the firmware updates on the router manufacturer's website.
  • If you are on a Wi-Fi connection, connect to the internet directly through an Ethernet cable instead. Wi-Fi connections can sometimes be inconsistent depending on the location and how strong the signal is.

  • Ensure that Don't Starve Together has been updated to the latest version. You can do so by going to the PS4's game list/main menu > go to Don't Starve Together > Options Button > Check for Updates

Thank you for your response, but none of the above worked, after trying all these I just tried to play the game with network turned off and to my surprise, it worked.

Regards.
