Zarquan Posted January 6, 2018 Share Posted January 6, 2018 I was thinking that it could be useful to be able to create duplicant groups to more easily control dupe movements and which dupes do what. For example, I play with miserable immune systems I could have a High Immunity Diggers group. I could go to a door that I put outside the slime biome and ban everyone but the members of this group from entering. That way, I could dig out the gold amalgum from the slime biome and not worry about my 0 immunity duplicants getting sick. Or, I could have a Low Immunity group that you bar from entering germy areas with one access control click, rather than having to remember all of the dupes with poor immune systems. You could also have training groups who are training jobs. No one is allowed in a room unless they are in the training group, which stops a high level dupe from going in an finishing the job that the others are trying to learn. I am mostly thinking about door controls, but it could also apply to jobs, food selection, etc Of course, this can be done right now with a lot of clicks and a good memory, but it would be nice to have a built in mechanic that allows us to do it without having to remember all the stats on each of our dupes.
