AileTheAlien Posted January 3, 2018 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Given that thimble reeds sometimes spawn in the world submerged in water, and the lack of text indicating otherwise, it seems natural that the game would let you plant them underwater for an early-game no-piping setup. I feel the text when you're planting it could be changed to make this more clear (italics is new): on the planter-box section: "This plant produces reed fiber. (Cannot be submerged to satisfy water requirements.)"
