Number of Geysers as world gen setting

I searched the forum, but found nothing that explicitly sounds like a feature request to this topic.

My simple wish is an additional setting to set either the total amount of all geysers or the amount of geysers from a specific type when the player generates a new world.

From my point of view as a it student, this souldn't be a hard challange depending on how the world generator internly works. I don't say it's easy, but it is in my personal opinion one of the important changes the game needs in the near future (4-8 weeks).

My questions are:

Are you already working on it? Or are you planing to change this?

Am I alone with this wish? 

I really can't understand why they didn't change it till now. The number of geysers is the most critical factor that determines the look of the "end game". 
Additional to that not all ready implemented geyser types are part of the world generation right now. I think they'll address this, but the time has come to work on this.

It's alpha and they experiment with it. When you want more of a specific geyser, you can edit them in, or use debugmode to spawn stuff in.
