BubbaSWalter
IS there a way without resetting the server to change wither a specific mob is rare or common? I created a dedicated server set the clockwork knight to rare and now there are none clockwork knights. is it possible to fix it so there might be some clockwork knights? Daniel86268
You can change some world settings like the probability of something happening, for example disease, an event or frograins, but you can't change worldgen related settings like the amount of certain mobs or structures that don't respawn. One of the examples for the latter are clockwork creatures (in the overworld). They never respawn and therefore can't be changed to respawn without rengenerating the world. That said there are multiple ways to aquire gears anyways (assuming you want to get gears in this case). The easiest legit one would be tumbleweeds and hope for some drops. A slightly more difficult one would be to complete those marble sets and breaking them during a full or new moon. If you just wanna have some clockwork creatures and you don't care about legitness you can just spawn them in on your cursor with the command "c_spawn("rook")" (or "bishop"/"knight"). Another way to get gears is to visit the ruins are in the caves and kill those clockworks. You can even respawn those ones by killing the fuelweaver. BubbaSWalter
What are marble sets? is there a console command to spawn at random locations?
Daniel86268
Those are the marble sets I was talking about, since these statues spawn in sets of usually 3: http://dontstarve.wikia.com/wiki/Marble_Sculptures There's no console command to spawn them in, but they always spawn naturally in the world, and they get retrogenned into old maps as well, so you should have some in your old world as well, if it was generated before the marble sculptures were added.
