Multiple automation signals in the same cable

Maybe using a device like the Gates to do it.

A = In/Out of the condensed signal.
1, 2, 3 = Normal signal.

 

Or maybe something smarter. Like a 1x2 device that would allow us to select which signal to get/set. Could use (A,B,C) to identify the signals.
X = Normal cable
Y = Condensed cable

On every one of the devices whe can click to select which signal we want them to use (A, B, C, ...).
