Mjello
Right now it is: "Between two objects the rate of transfer will be determined by the object with the lowest thermal conductivity." Should be changed to: "Object1 + Object2 / 2". Transfer rate is determined by the average thermal conductivity of 2 objects. why??: Because abyssalite won't work then? We have insulated tiles and pipes. With abyssalite you can just build normal and they work better than insulated pipes. Two rows of abyssalite would still make the same effect as one row do now. I finally got the pipe materials I so desperately wanted when I first started to play the game. I got a liquid cooler. But they are useless because any coolant I use have a lower thermal conductivity than granite. It does not matter what material I use. I still cannot make a small efficient radiator based on pipes. I would like the materials and their properties to matter in the game. Tungsten: 60 K Plastic: 913 K Wolframite: 15 K Granite: 3.14 K Water: 0.609 K Oil: 2 K Polluted water: 0.508 K This single little change in code would make the gameplay so much better for me. Now why isn't it so? If someone could tell me where to edit this fundamental piece of code in the game I would make a mod for it. But right now I have no clue where to look or if it is even accessible.
