I want to grind for the barbed helmet but I was wondering I would be able to keep it after the forge. Would I also be able to craft it in normal DST? Yes, skins gotten in the forge are kept after the event is over. And yes, skins are usable outside of the forge. There would be no point to them otherwise. Werecrowe Posted November 10, 2017 Share Posted November 10, 2017 I see no reason to believe that they'd disappear after the event ends... I am assuming that the Gladiator skins will be persisting post-Forge, as Klei has offered them in exchange for money, and I don't really think that the other items will disappear when the Forge ends (also, I think that removing them after the event would definitely cheese people off, so I highly doubt that it would happen).
