GrandmasterSen
I am sorry if this seems so basic.. But I can't seem find the answer on the wiki or the forums yet. I have seen both priority = #.# and priority,c = #.# How do I actually use these functions and what exactly do they do? I would actually be interested in them, as what I hope it does is let you prioritize one mod over the other... Like, I would like to edit a mod and add some balance to it for my server, and I would prefer to have it just overwrite the mod separately without having to upload the whole thing. Is this possible with this? Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/83631-how-do-i-use-priority-in-modinfolua/ Share on other sites
Leonardo Cox
priority basically forces your mod to load either before or after other mods. A mod with negative priority (like -10) will load after any mod that has a higher priority value. Be noted that there is a limit to how high/low you can set this number, but I can't remember that number offhand. As for the editing mod thing for server, it depends on what changes you're wanting to do on the mod. If you're just copying a "all clients require mod" mod, you will need to upload it or manually share it with the people you want to join the server. If you want it to be server-only change then you'd need to make sure the clients get what they need (anims/tags/certain functions that do visual things) and the server keeps the stuff server needs (stats, stategraphs, etc.) for it to work properly.
