qustion about modding recipes

is there a way to remove recipes or disable them?

trying to add modifyed recipes of ingame items to my mod
(basicly making it so silk is never needed)
 

me know how to add recipes just not how to disable/remove 1s that are in the game 

up till now ivejust been replacing silk and spiderglands with HEATROCK and rope but bc im changing the recipe inside the recipes.lua every time klei do a update it undose my changes and was hoping to just add the recipes to my mod and at the same time disable the recipes in game that require silk/spiderglans
