Cbundy99 Posted September 9, 2017 Share Posted September 9, 2017 My pc crashed while I was playing on my server last night. When I got back on DST my server wasn't there, just said start new game. Daniel86268 Posted September 10, 2017 Share Posted September 10, 2017 I've witnessed that with a friend of mine as well, in her case she weirdly enough "just" lost some progress. I assume it's Window's autorollback to a previous snapshot after a crash to prevent more crashes and "to give the user the best possible Microsoft experience". I don't think you can recover those files in any way (apart from using super expensive recovery software to recover deleted and overwritten files from datastorages), but for the future I'd recommend to make backups in regular intervals.
