SniderThanYou
In the Jobs panel, you can declare that certain duplicants are not allowed to perform certain jobs. Duplicants also have modifiers, such as Yokel or Gastrophobia, that prevent them from performing certain jobs. In the agricultural update, you can also disallow specific duplicants from eating specific foods, to cater to their food quality threshold. What if a duplicant had a deadly allergy to pincha peppers, and just cold not eat them at all? Or perhaps an intolerance to meal lice, and if that duplicant eats it, it causes vomiting, flatulence, and extra trips to the bathroom?
jirkazr
Yes please! And make it so that despite the deadly allergy, the duplicant will eat it unless you explicitly disallow it. Imagine all the hilarious "wtf, why did he just die" moments.
SniderThanYou
I fear that would be a bit too punishing for newer players. For the deadly allergies, I was imagining the absence of a check box entirely, so they actually can't eat it. Just like how a Yokel can't research. It could be a way of encouraging players to produce more than one type of food.
jirkazr
That would work too, but you'd lose out on the facepalms. :))
