Problems with the Metheus Puzzle.

Hello fellow starver,

 

First of all I'd like to mention that I did see the other Metheus Puzzle thread, however, I did and do not want to spoiler myself as I love puzzling.

My problem is though, that, after the second torch (on the right) is lit, I have experienced trouble during puzzling. I'm getting kicked out several times already trying to figure out the right order of the squares and/or symbols. For some reason, my page reloads and both, my partner and I, get kicked out and we get new symbols. I'd like to know whether or not there is a time limit or "button-pressing-limit" to the puzzle. Personally, this gets on my nerves and yet, I really want to figure out why we're facing problems with this.

I'm asking whether anyone else is experiencing similar problems, if this genuinely is one, or whether there is a solution to it.

It's not a bug, it's intended. I believe it's there to prevent people brute-force solving the puzzle, but I must agree it's annoying. So there is no solution to this problem, after some time you'll know the logic of the puzzle and be able to solve it

There's a limit on how many times you can click the blue button (I don't know how high it is), the time however is unlimited. So try to refresh the changes by clicking the button not that often.
