Can't find a puff ?

Recommended Posts

After the full thermal update , i can't find any puffs . I thought that it's just bad spawning but i had restarted the game for a few times but still. Is there a place i need to go to find a puff ? Without them , i barely made it to cycle 60 and then i died of no algae and or water.

(Sorry for my English)

I have one in my save started after the release. So they can spawn but it doesn't look like there's a lot of them. Or maybe they don't survive the temperatures.

It is, however, certainly possible to survive without them. Just find a geyser or a few and tame them for infinite water supply.

But how about algea ? And i don't know how a geyser works . I saw one before and i check the descripton but don't understand at all how they can produce you more water . They just heated water and turn them into steam

You don't need algae with electrolyzer.

Every once in a while the geyser spills some steam and it condenses to water. Just build something around the geyser, cool it down a bit and pump the water wherever you need it.

What the amount of water a geyser produce ? Because electrolyzer use a whole bunch of them

Not sure, I'm running a base with four dupes and at cycle 340 I'm still drowning in water that was in the map since the beginning. Why don't you go and find out yourself?
