with the thermal update I have used naturally flowing water and its thermal properties to maintain base temperatures. to cool my generators and grow my fiber all with waters heat properties. There is another thing I wouldn't mind using it for though. water as it travels has kinetic energy so a water wheel or steam pistons would be technically basic ideas sure you would need a high enough volume of water to move a wheel in comparison to heating and cooling a base which really only needs just more than a trickle.

I don't think its currently feasible with the build as the water mechanics seem kind of funny atm
