Carrying items in the game. Moving without the need for storage compactors.

Recommended Posts

Hi. I've been playing Oni since after the launch, and I love it. I have a couple of suggestions for future development of the game in hopes of endless sustainability. First, I could like to suggest adding the ability to move mined resources to certain areas, without having to add a storage compactor, making it easier to keep the base organised, and to keep track of the available resources. This brings us to the second point. I'd like to suggest the addition of cages/traps that could be used to capture the creatures that roam around the world, making it possible for the creation of farms and animal conservation areas, opening up the opportunity for further creativity.

I recall a mod in a voxel game that allowed you to store things in a network with varying tiers of storage devices (some items took up more "space" in them), and you could call items wherever you had installed a terminal on said system.

This would be nice so you could transport things instantly - maybe a future update, mod or DLC to add futuristic things would contain such a system. The duplicants are working with some pretty crude items at this time.

Edit - you'd still have to add the storage devices, probably with varying sizes in-game, but you could do that in a separate room with this type of system any distance away from, or inside your base.
