Multiple Job States/Pages

There's a 'Jobs" section, where you can designate which dupes can do which tasks. 
What I've been doing lately is setting up my dupes to have "specialties" - so Bubbles ONLY digs. Stinky ONLY builds. etc. 

In addition, I kind of figured out that certain families of jobs kind of work together, or have themes.

Digging + Building  = the only things required to expand my mine shafts

Generate power + Sweep + Deliver = Covers what I consider basic base maintenance. 

Cook + Harvest = Standard 'Chef' duties


Stuff like that.



I like what is there so far, but there are times when... say... there's a food shortage.

I'd like to have a way to set up 3 more dupes to be "chefs" to balance out the excess calories I'd need to build up a surplus and get back to normal harvesting operations... that kind of thing.

One solution I thought that Might be simple would to just add Nameable pages to the Jobs section, so you have like Page 1 being "Normal"; Page 2 being "Food shortage"; Page 3 like "Messy base" (where I have set up a lot of dupes to only focus on sweeping).

Right now it's a hassle managing more than 8 dupes this way, and setting them up with solid routines.
current game I'm struggling after a death spiral from 21 dupes to 8 because of this. My heart. </3 :[ 
 

 

Setting up dupes with personal routines and personal duties would be an awesome feature, too. But one step at a time.
