El Z Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 - Bunk Beds -Chlorine turned into sanitation -If you place 2 ladders going up together, duplicates sometimes go left and right indefinitely and suffocate when no oxygen is available (i call it the hop hop of death). -Add a fix all function -Let duplicates dig the same rocks together (max 2 per rock) -Neutroneum is undiggable. I think placing a special drill building on top to harvest and convert the immeasurable ore into nuclear energy might be a good move. -Sometimes gas pumps don't work. I guess they have to be on ceilings to pick up gas in the first place. - That being said, add radioactivity and special suits to minimize it - Abbysalite is beyond the freezing point of water, I dropped gallons of contaminated water and it did not change it's temperature or the outside temperature in the slightest. Make it cold in the area. -Add a way to convert sandstone and clay into sand (I used up all the clay in my game;literally) -Add a way to convert contaminated water inside the water (A higher research tek as well) ; my duplicates will vomit and pee themselves and they always seem to find a way to contaminate the water even if i enclose it. -Hydrogen is used up way to quickly for power. Make it last longer and add a way to store it for extended use. I can imagine splitting the air with the gas vents. I have over 6 gas pumps in different areas all connected to different caves ceiling and struggle to even keep the hydrogen converter on 1 bar. I stopped using it all together at some point. -Add more coal! -Add weapons -Add hostile animals -Add boss fights -(You don't have to) Add multiplayer ; 2 people can control their own colony duplicates ; test it at least. people can have some fun together. - Add sinks (also for grimy hands and stop the spread of diseases) -Showers are waaaaaaay to tall and take to long to even shower. -Add your own features. I know what my problem was, i expanded too much and sucked the life out of this little rock planet. I think they should introduce more ways to produce oxygen, purify water and make electricity instead of just adding more of the same resource tho. For example, uranium for power, sodium and chlorine for water filtration systems and expand the map a little more. Also there seems to be a bug where pipes pump in too much resource and most of it gets destroyed. I have the 15 algea machines at the bottom that when i need it, i use them. I have 3 coal machines, but disable them until i need them (helps a lot). I do only keep my duplicates to 10 maximum. Yea that's what i was thinking with chlorine, to use it for sanitzation. There really needs to be a way to clean the water with the machine inside the water. Purifying water doesn't seem to really bring any benefits though. There also has to be more medicine in the apothecary that helps with diseases. The placebo pill for instance, needs 100 to fix a disease. it needs electricity, which i run out of quick. Teyko Posted March 12, 2017 Share Posted March 12, 2017 Hey EI Z, Dupes don't need to Dig together. dupes that level up their digging to Lvl 9~10 will dig almost any material in a matter of seconds. I I don't see why we would require this. later in the game, you will have around 8~12 dupes if not more anyway. they will dig anything incredibly quick. Neutronium is undesirable because it is the material you are not supposed to dig out yet. it is not implemented in the game and serves no purpose besides functioning as the "rock bottom" ground. basically the end of the world. Gas Pumps don't work because from what I know they only suck in air from 1 tile. and they stop working when creating a vacuum in that tile. so it stops working until air flows back in. it works fine just really really inefficient. Abyysalite is also not implemented into the game right now and will be replaced with "tungsten" in the next update coming march 22nd the reason why nothing changes the temperature when hitting on Abyysalite is because it has a thermal conductivity of 0. the Toxic Biome has plenty of Clay, it's mostly made up of slime clay and golden alge (or how it is spelled) we will get also new ways to find sand beside the starting biom. Contaminated water is heavier than water and will drop to the ground you can just mop it in worst case scenario. and if it gets pumped into something that uses water I will get deleted. unless it's the toilet from what i have heard. Hydrogen Generators are bugged out, should be fixed with the upcoming patch. well there is plenty of coal to be honest 150 cycles and i still got enough coal for like 40~50 cyles. Well this is not a RPG weapons and monsters would have no meaning in this game. even if there would be hostiles creatures "which there is one currently lol") what else can you get from them than food? it would have no point in the game. you can't really control your dupes so there is no actual combat. Although true, the dupes LVL up with Digging, they die constantly (have you seen my graveyard?) from bugs. This would help alleviate the stress from trying to get somewhere, and to have dupes already near ready to keep digging. (They go away when they have nothing to dig.) 2.Neutronium is like bedrock in Minecraft then. Good to know. 3.Gas pumps are inefficient. They also don't want to suck up oxygen when I place it on top of an algae converter to place more oxygen to the middle of my base. 4.Is tungsten going to be used for anything? Abyyysalite is just an obstacle then, got it. 5.Awesome, i can purify my water again! There is literally no other way to get purified water. 6.Heavier than water you say? I no longer worry about it as i just pump it into a purifier for water. There is still no benefit for clean water, so i stopped even thinking i should have clean water. 7.Yey! 8.Your on your 150 cycle. I'm on my 200+ cycle. I'm already restraining all energy until i need it to survive. 9.You are correct. But this is also an exploration game. Exploring and finding monsters is already implemented. Finding bigger monsters that drop a bigger food yield would be a great way to explore even more. Also can we stop trying to turn this into a combat/multiplayer game? Its about resource management, not assigning 'kill' jobs. Much prefer they work on what the game is instead of adding silly features like mp. The main art has an air helmet and there's a Radium tile in the game already through dev tools. As for tools for dupes, i dunno - multitools do everything right now. Oh, monsters for sure, but not bosses. Hated them in dont starve, but thats just me.
