auron471
Ways to farm algae Create Sand from sandstone robots to transport stuff, mine, ect Water Mills? idk, place it below a water output and it will generate small amounts of electricity O2 suits to allow dupes to go into areas with no O2 or areas with toxins let us manually tell a specific dupe to preform an action, and If we do that, they will complete that task before anything else. Monsters that will tunnel into your base. more will come the longer into the game you are. Guards with guns that can attack from Much longer range Turrets more variety of foods, both easy to make and not easy to make allergic reactions if dupes eat the same kind of food to often Water tanks so clean water does not get contaminated if a dupe vomits near it
TheMetalMan
The robot idea is rather interesting, how do you think it'd work? Would it have a recharce station and not be activated until it has a full battery and when the battery runs out, do they simply stop? Do they emit heat? Are there certain jobs they couldn't perform or do different types of bots perform different jobs? Maybe they could move on their own railways outside the base into toxic environments? Crimeo
Quote Water Mills? If you're gonna add water mills, you would need to implement a whole complicated system of U-bend pressure and potential energy and so on first, which is quite difficult, and can be difficult and unintuitive. Because if you didn't, you would easily be able to make perpetual motion machines. So it would have to start requiring more energy to pump water up higher, etc. to compensate. Which might be very difficult to code or slow the game down. But would be cool if possible. Quote Monsters that will tunnel into your base This would imply there is an accessible outside world somewhere, which might sort of ruin the point of the game that you're trapped in a closed system. If you have a way around that, then maybe. Quote allergic reactions if dupes eat the same kind of food to often That's the opposite of how allergies work. A mood debuff though makes a lot of sense.
