atmeoko9000
Hi, I feel like an idiot for not understanding how liquid pumps and pipes work. I've hooked up pipes from the white outputs to the green inputs and the pump is completely submerged in water. It looks like the water is being pumped through the pipes, but the lavatory and air scrubber don't do anything. The liquid pump and air scrubber are both powered, but neither are pumping. I thought it might be a bug, so I looked through multiple forums looking to see if anyone else has the same issue. I'm pretty sure this is an isolated incident, so I'm probably just making a mistake somewhere. Can anyone explain to me what I'm doing wrong? clamjam
Your contaminated water is dripping back into your clean water reservoir. Your air scrubber is most likely not functioning due to contaminated water being pumped into it. You will have to deconstruct it and rebuild it. Your pump is most likely working just fine, but it won't pump any water when your pipes are full. My suggestion would be to find a different area to drain your contaminated water, or just have your air scrubber dump into the purifier you already have set up. clamjam
Depending on the amount of contaminated water that's in your clean water, I would set up a liquid filter between your pump and structures to avoid having the same problem in the future. Once the contaminated water is filtered out, and dumped into a different area, you shouldn't need the liquid filter anymore.
atmeoko9000
Thanks. I just had my liquid pump connected directly to the water purifier and repiped and everything started working.
