Interloper
Currently, you can designate mineable areas for digging. However, to remove tiles, you need to give a separate deconstruct order. When trying to dig resources behind a tiled wall, you need to issue two commands. It would be nice if, when designating the dig command over both mineable areas and tiles, the selected tiles would automatically receive deconstruct orders in addition to the mineable areas receiving digging designations. Further, you can place build orders over mineable areas, but not tiles. It would be nice if you could place buildings over tiles, and both the tile deconstruct order and building construction orders would automatically be issued with one click. chromiumboy
I think it's a feature to prevent you from accidently digging out / destroying existing tiles while mining / building. I think it should remain as it is by default, but it could be a togglable option for advanced users
