arfnhtylz
So here is the problem. My hydrogen generators seem to be full of hydrogen (to be precise 49.9 kg hydrogen) but they don't produce energy when there is no hydrogen in the pipe. Because of that, I have to keep my coal generators or the manual generators running which in return either forces me to dig for more coal(like in the picture) or keeps my dupes busy. Anyone have any idea or a fix? Here is how much I had to dig for more coal (I am at the edge of the map) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/75180-hydrogen-generators-are-bugged/ Share on other sites
haschischtasche
Add a valve to pump in miniscule amounts of hydrogen so they keep running and lose some stored hydrogen, then balance the valve to a point where the intake is identical to the use. Quantum1000
Wait, they're not going up and down at all? Normally, they only run when there's hydrogen in the pipe, so eventually they'll fill up so much that the hydrogen will back up and they're have to empty before receiving it, allowing them to run longer and work normally. On the other hand, if they're generating no power, that certainly is a bug. haschischtasche
I just saw the cables hanging in midair on the first screenshot. They are actually connected to something right? They are just there for plans for now I guess...I was just too lazy to deconstruct them.Should have disabled them but laziness have no boundary Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/75180-hydrogen-generators-are-bugged/#findComment-875924 Share on other sites
Risu
This has been known for quite awhile now. The pipe intake is telling the machine that it is empty so the machine assumes this means it isn't operational. Had it fixed for now by just using the gas valve.I let the generators be full then cut the intake by 1/4 and voula.every 2-4 cycles or so I fill up my batteries.
