I thought I'd be able to send contaminated water into the filter, and have clean water come out the other end of pipe. I guess not? So what is the filter good for? So if you had a mix of water and dirty water you could safely filter out dirty one to separate tank. I can see where the confusion came in, but if a word has several meanings, well that's what the ingame descriptions are for.
