Interloper
So I've played about 4-6 hours of ONI now and have some feedback on the GUI. - The research menu is a little unintuitive. It can be accessed 3 ways via the research station, super computer, and the top right menu. It seems like each of these sets a different state, e.g., novice research priority, intermediate research priority, and overall research priority, and can be different, which isn't clear to the user. - Setting priorities is unclear. When you select the priority overlay, it shows a huge color legend of priorities to the right, but the actual button interface is the tiny gray buttonset at the bottom right of the screen. I think most users overlook this at first, and it's redundant with the color legend. The gray buttonset should be removed and its functionality moved to the legend - It is not clear from the building interface whether a building requires power or not until after the building is placed and constructed. Plumbing requirements are shown, electrical requirements should be shown too. - the building menu and the building's right-click info menu should clearly show their gas intake and output. Liquids and raw materials are shown, gas should too. I've been having fun with this so far. I'm planning to spend some more time learning the gameplay before providing specific gameplay feedback, but most of my initial impressions have already been said on the forum ( e.g. algae consumption, water destruction)

Really ? I tried to set differents researchs for my novice and intermediate research and it didn't work, choose one reseted the other. Is it really possible to set differents researchs ? Edit : i tried, again, and if i choose one research with my intermediate research structure, and another with my novice research structure, the last choosen override the previous one, so they can't be different. Or i didn't understand what you mean.

First, I selected a basic research in my novice station, and second, I selected an intermediate research in my supercomputer. Each made progress in their respective category. Third, I selected an entirely different research via the top right menu button. This actually halted all of my research on the first two projects until I clicked on the same research topic via all three methods. It's very, very possible I misunderstood how the system works or encountered a bug, but that furthers my point - that the research interface GUI is not clear as to whether each separate menu is global or machine-specific, and could use clarification as to what research is selected and which machines are assigned to that research. Lumina
I agree : if we are unable to tell what situation is a bug or the normal behaviour, then we have a problem
