Romana32
I am here to ask if I were to make a dedicated server, would it override or delete my current server? By current server I mean the ones where you can just click "host game" and then enable mods, change settings etc. I currently have two one full of many mods, that I hold very very dear to my heart, and another one without mods. The one which i hold very dearly has caves as well. It would be crushing to lose it. I've looked up videos and read some forums, however I don't want to lose it. Also my reasoning for wanting a dedicated server would be to have people come and go as they want. Though I am not entirely 100% sure if that's what a dedicated server is? I haven't found any clear cut pro's and con's list to running a dedicated server.
Electroely
Dedicated servers have their own save location. You can move that location to wherever you want in the DoNotStarveTogether(ANewReignBeta, if applicable) folder. If you don't choose a location I believe it will replace the server hosted on slot 1 of your game.
