D0ntjudg3 Posted February 14, 2017 Share Posted February 14, 2017 Hello everyone, i'm streaming DS RoG for a while now, and decided to start streaming DST, i was just wondering, do i need a really high upload speed to stream and host a DST server in the same time, i have 2mb/s upload speed, and i was just wondering if that's enough. Especially on worlds that are a bit older with lots if stuff in them. But it also has to do with ur pc specs and the quality of your upspeed. Give it a go to see how it works, only way to really find out. I started renting a server instead of hosting from my stream pc. That made a huge difference. Good luck! I actually streamed it a bit just for the testing purposes, i made my world and everything but i was the only person on the server, i didn't have any lags, stream health graph on twitch was a bit spiky but i wasn't dropping any frames or anything, and my ping was good. Renting a server removed all dst related stream issues. But as I said, its also connected to quality of upload, not only the speed. and pc specs. You might be better off than me and have no issues.
