Avaricious
Not sure where to go for technical support I've been away from DST for some time. the only changes is that I am now on windows 10 http://imgur.com/tUBpIfk I am only getting 13 FPS on menu and 20~25 FPS in game. Any ideas? or anything I need to provide? Have tried, Vsync, Triple buffering (Nvidia Geforce Settings) but no effects. Diaboliko
Speaking of ideas, does DST support multithreading for client? If not - that could be the case. I remember people writing about overworld server and caves server running on their own threads each. Though thats the only thing I can think of. Proven to be wrong sometimes. Avaricious
No caves, other than my I5, the game is running off an SSD, has GTX 970 supporting it, and 16gb worth of ram. No caves, no mods (deleted them off, when I realized i had FPS issues) The original Don't starve runs at capped 60 FPS without issues. DST however is stuck on the horrendous FPS. Avaricious
Fixed the problem. Found out I was tweaking with the wrong exe. Apparently somehow my Steam had 2 copies of DST at 2 different locations. VSync OFF & triple buffering fixed the FPS problems Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/72965-low-fps-on-dst/#findComment-854254 Share on other sites
