Farm plot default orientation

I saw a previous thread about the angle of farm plots being default towards the north east direction.

I was just wondering if this has changed, as I have seen some streamers on twitch playing and have had their map rotated to point in the north direction and have built farms that are in the same orientation. 

However when I try and create farms after rotating my world they still point in the default northeast direction, even with any mods I have disabled.  

Is my game bugged or is there a mod out there that allows this change?

That's DST, I think, but maybe Klei brought this change back to DS base.
