Does Fire Dart damage stack?

They do 100-150 damage each, but its damage over time. I was wondering if this damage stacks? If i shoot 2 fire darts one after another at an enemy, will it accumulate to 200-300 damage, and 3 to 300-450 damage, and so on? If there is a stack, is there a limit to the stack? Or no stack at all? 

I dont have the PC version so i cant spawn fire darts and see how much damage they add up to, since on PC i have seen mods where you can see the enemy health. I have the PS4 version so its a lot harder to test this out for me. Anyone willing to check it out and see if the damage accumulates or not?

After waiting 12 hours and no response, I decided to check for myself using my friends steam account. Here are my foundings for fire darts in general.

when I went against a Bearger, they do approximately 43 damage per fire dart. they do not stack damage, other than the 5. I shot 1, and over half the time got 43 damage on the dot. when used against a deerclops, it did 40.5 damage in total constantly. but when used against an ancient guardian, it does 15 damage, i assume he has some fire resistance though because no fire animations appeared on him. 

when used against spiders or pigs, it was 17 damage. when used against beefalo, it did 27 damage. when used against a rabbit, it only did 12 damage.

So, from my research, the fire dart is absolutely useless, no reason to ever make them. Just a waste of resources for the amount of damage they deal. They need a buff, and they should potentially stack damage as well. I don't know if they recently received a nerf or not because everywhere I read, it said they do around 100-120 or 100-150 damage, when the highest I saw was 48 when I was fooling around with the bearger. but it was only once so either I calculated it wrong or an interference happened.
