Where did i go wrong? Custom character problem

So i've made a character following guide on this forum and  this video on youtube and after getting it all done when i tried to check it out at first it said that scripts are missing and when i added my scripts with name esctemplate.lua game just crashes.

I'm attaching the mod so you can check it's files.

you did not properly rename everything

 for example, the modmain requires "speech_esctemplate" yet the speech file is called "speech_nuff" unless you properly rename things it will possibly give you a crash.

Thanks halfrose i missed that one.

Now i made it work and when i change .tex files it doesn't work, when i do it looks like the old one. Do i need to clear some sort of cache in game to change it?

you need to change the pngs, delete the tex ones and let them be compiled again, it should do the work.
