DST lantern exploit is possible in dont starve solo

so I  have figured a way to get it so that you can have the lantern and a item of your choosing to be equipped at the same time just like how you can do in dont starve together

it requires a bit more that dst but is functionally the same you drop the item you want to have in your hand and then equip the lantern press space to pick up the item and during that time frame click the lantern out of your hand  and viola you have your light and either wep cane or weather resistant device in your hand.

In don't starve solo you got infinite light lanterns.

does this exploit make the lantern light forever and have a weapon or cane equipped? (video would be nice)

no you still have to refuel the lantern but you have it on you and you can fight with armor on or using a different head gear other than a miners hat

in other words its a miner hat without it being a miner hat
