Beta dedicating server listing problem

Recommended Posts

I found an interesting problem while hosting in a remote computer. The dedicated server was updated to the Beta (It upgraded my old cluster files, but the problem is the same with a new cluster as well).

-While my DST client was not in the beta, i could see my server in the list.

-I upgraded the DST client to the beta, and couldn't see my server in the listing anymore.

-Downgraded the DST client, and I could see it again.

I copied the dedicated server to my computer, and started there, and I could see it (and join it) with the Beta DST client.

I am a little lost with this problem, maybe someone here have a solution (or at least the same problem :)).

Seems like the server isn't using the beta. Make sure you're using the -beta parameter and validate the installation, so something like

steamcmd +login anonymous +app_update 343050 -beta anewreignbeta -validate +quit

You can also checkĀ Jack'lul's server listing, it should show your server no matter what and indicate which version it's running, as long as it's an online server.
