Don't Starve Together ONLY character

Winter - "The Lost Child"

-Has low sanity, health, and hunger, and damage
-Hunger drains slowly
-Sanity slowly decreases while alone
-Grants a small sanity boost near players
-Can equip Burnie (Willows stuff bear) for small sanity gain, and can use it to sleep during dusk
-Can equip Abigails flower (simular affects as a garland)
-Can equip a balloon from Wes for small sanity gain
-Can't "Murder" caught animals

And when I say equip, I really mean equip, like for the hand slot. And for Wes balloon, it would work as if he chooses "give" on his pile of balloons, it would actually create a balloon in Winters inventory slot with durability, she could either equip it, or drop it. (Wes still looses sanity for it, and dropping it would make it act like a regular Wes balloon)

This character would probably be a nice addition to don't starve together, a few reasons being is that for New Players, they would normally stay by more experienced. So using Winter as a tutorial character for them, with her lowered hunger rate she wouldn't need that much food and new players dont normally try to attack giant's so early in the game, plus she is more of a supporting character getting benefits from certain survivors.

 

But this character is also the "Wes" of don't starve together, experience gamers can use her as a handicap trying to survive by either themselves, or with friends. A experience player can use Winter to her full advantage but surviving by herself is harder. 

 

I don't have any images, but I just wanted to at least get this information on a post before I forget to write it down, if anyone likes this idea and wants to create a model for her, go ahead. She should be a bit younger then Wendy, innocent and still child-like compared to the other characters. (And maybe have her holding Burnie or a Wes balloon if ya could)

The sanity boost for other nearby players would be nice...
Still hoping that Klei will add more reasons like that for people to play Don't Starve Together. Right now, it's more along the lines of Don't Starve While Occasionally Passing By Others Who Share The Same Fire At Night.

Well actually for me and my friends, we do play a lot together, if one of them is Wigfred, then we might have a Webber (or set up near the pig king) and help them get meat, and use a bird to get eggs. While she would supply us with armor and weapons,

 

But the main reason I thought of Winter was because I thought it be cool to see the characters interact a little bit more with each other, and because 3 of my friends just got the game with no idea how to play. So they (in a sense) are like Chester, following you around not really attacking anything. It's a good starting character for New Players, and a good challenge for experienced.

Just thought of another character, this one is more focused "mid-game" if you will,

 

Waack (yes, it's a real name) - "The Doctor"

 

-Gains extra health restore from non-food "healing" items (example: spider glands, mosquito sacks, healing salves, booster shots)

-Cannot gain any benefit from magical healing items (life giving amulet)

-Can craft 3 unique healing items, "The Arm Cast" "Medication" and "The Splint"

-Arm cast costs 6 silk and 2 healing salves, equips in the hand tab.

*slowly regen lost hp, but cannot unequip untill durability runs out

-Splint costs 2 twigs 3 grass and 2 healing salves, equips to the body

*slowly regen lost hp, but movment speed is reduced in till durability runs out, or unequiped. (Unequiping destroys the splint)

-Loses a lot of sanity whenever someone resurrects by any means near him (including Abigail)

-Has less sanity and damage then average, but high health and regular food decrease rate

-His max hp penalty for resurrection is more severe then others, 

-Every time he resurrects, he also gets a max sanity penalty

*Medication can be crafted by 3 of each mushrooms, and 10 flowers, acts like a sanity booster

-Cannot prototype any magic items (including the preshatinator)

-Loses .5 sanity for every 1 hp he loses, (including from self damage from the "tell tale heart")

*His sanity loss from damage will act as a DoT, meaning if I take 10 damage, I won't instantly lose 5 sanity, it would slowly drain (also meaning you'd have to wait for the drain to finish, or risk having your "sanity" restoring item be nulled)

 

This character would be more "mid-game" benefits because health is pretty important, but because he will do less damage and can go insane quicker every time someone dies. Plus if he dies, his penalty is much more harsher, and has to waste time looking for mushrooms to restore his already low sanity back to normal. Being a doctor, he will refuse magic, calling it "Crazed Alchemy" and such, so you can't really get some powerful items such as the shadow gear unless you have another player.

No one really focused on making salves whenever I play DST with friends, so I thought maybe there should be a character who benefits from said items.
